Don't worry about it.

Are you living in the fear of what is going to happen to us next? The media are telling tales
of  woe and if you listen the their message you hear, “All is doomed.” They give us a feeling of
hopelessness and a victim mentality. We are told that the government is going to destroy us.
Christian organizations have also entered into this media frenzy and have become the tattle tales of
unrighteousness. Too many times they end up with a plea for your financial support in the matter. What ever
happened to prayer, faith, righteousness and “In God We Trust”? Where are the positive attitudes that we are
supposed to be living in and sharing?
Philippians 4:8  says; For the rest, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things have honor, whatever
things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is
any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things.
The essence of this scripture can not be obtained
by worrying about the world issues through the media.  Can you add a day to your life because of worry?

Why is the gospel called Good News? Why are we focused upon the negative more than the positive?
Read the book (Bible). We win. We are victorious. May I encourage you by saying, “You are a victorious warrior
in Christ. You have all authority to destroy the works of the enemy. You were wonderfully made and are God’s
masterpiece.” Some of us may be coming to completion while others are in different areas of growth, but you are
God’s handiwork. Let that soak in for a moment.

During morning prayer the following story came to my mind.

2Kings 6:15  Early in the morning a servant of the Holy Man (Elisha) got up and went out. Surprise! Horses and
chariots surrounding the city! The young man exclaimed, "Oh, master! What shall we do?"
2Ki 6:16  He said, "Don't worry about it--there are more on our side than on their side."
2Ki 6:17  Then Elisha prayed, "O GOD, open his eyes and let him see." The eyes of the young man were opened
and he saw. A wonder! The whole mountainside full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha!

I love this story. Too many times we only see the enemy and his weapons formed against us. We need our eyes
opened so that we can see that “there are more on our side than on their side."  God has provided blessings and
victory for us. Let us look to the positive and overcome the negative.

Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone that reads this will desire to see your wonders. May they see the army of the
Lord gathered round about them. Teach them how to activate this army for your glory. Amen
